1. Try to look at your parents or your guardians. When can you say they are being egoistic? Altruistic. Give one scenario for each.
Ans.
All forms of egoism require explication of “self-interest” (or “welfare” or “well-being”). There are two main theories. Preference or desire accounts identify self-interest with the satisfaction of one's desires. Often, and most plausibly, these desires are restricted to self-regarding desires. What makes a desire self-regarding is controversial, but there are clear cases and counter-cases: a desire for my own pleasure is self-regarding; a desire for the welfare of others is not.

           For me, there is a time/situation that parents become egoistic, good parent never push as to the things that we can’t handle just for their benefits. there is an instances that parent/s become egoistic like the father want his son/daughter to work abroad but the mother don't want to. That is why superiority leads to egoistic parents. Parents must try to understand the feeling of their children and fulfill their wishes through their own egoistic wishes. But for me, good parent are not egoistic at all they only want the best for their children. The absence of parent altruism would, of course, have profound consequences for the future life-chances of children. 

2. If you are to assess yourself, what kind of a person are you? Are you an egoist, or an altruist? Discuss in relevance to your own experiences in computing. 
Ans.
           If I asses myself what kind of person I am either Egoist or Altruist? For me, I consider myself as an egoist typed person because there are many instances that people around me try to ask or help for assistance, I had a time for them to listen and if they approaches me assisting them I immediately help. But there also a time I become egoistic, there is a situation that people abuse my kindness, so my egoistic personality will trigger. For me, helping others make me happy and aid my self-confidence.
 
3. As Aristotle says, “for as it is not one swallow or one fine day that makes a spring, so it is not one day or a short time that makes a man blessed and happy.” … Discuss in relevance to your own experiences in computing

1. This is about the student handbook on computing for the students of Virginia University (Please surf for it). Read and understand their handbook .

If you are to become a part of the VSU team who will formulate a handbook like that of Virginia University, give at least 2 policies that you want to be implemented in VSU or even just for CS students like you, regarding computing. Also include sanction or sort of punishment to those who will violate the said policy.
UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA STUDENT POLICIES:
UVa-Wise Policies - alcohol/drugs, copyright policy for students, degree revocation, domestic animal & wildlife management, fishing, grievance procedure, hazing, involuntary withdrawal, parental notification policy, pets, sexual/discriminatory harassment, skateboarding, smoking, solicitation & salesmen, students exhibiting suicidal tendencies or behaviors, and weapons storage.
Ans.
If I have a chance to become a part of the VSU team who will formulate a handbook I will implement:

First policy, not wearing of identification(ID) is prohibited, because some of our student are not wearing personal ID's. There are many situation that students who are not wearing their ID's cannot enter a particular building such as Administration building or entering any seminars.
SANCTION AND PUNISHMENT : If they violate the said policy student cannot enter the university. It's the student's responsibility to wear their proper ID to avoid the punishment and if they caught within the campus he/she will be given a first and second warning by USSO. In the first warning, he/she will be reminded that if caught he/she will be suspended for 1 week, second warning will be suspended for 1 week.

Second policy, Posting of answers on the personal web, it is highly prohibited especially in exams and quizzes.
SANCTION AND PUNISHMENT : If they caught or found out that they violate the policy he/she will be given a first warning to delete any information/answer on the web. If they fail to do the first warning the instructor/teacher will marked 5.0 grade on his/her subject.
2. According to the definition of ethics, it can be connected to the norms or custom of the society. What could be ethical to one could be unethical to another. If this is the case, in which ethics seem to be subjective in nature, why is there a need to study computer ethics at all? Support your opinion with facts.
Ans.
Ethics can be connected to the norms or custom of the society because their a custom that can be ethical on a society. There is still a need to study computer ethics even if ethics seems to be subjective in nature because each type of ethics deals with the scope and purpose that raise the interest in and awareness of the issues, and to think about how computer technology may be used to benefit and not to harm, and to raise the quality of life of all members of our society. Computer ethics deals with the proper usage of telecommunications and data storage. With the knowledge of an individual pertaining to computer ethics, he/she will not do anything that against the codes of computer ethics.

3. There are 4 types of non-jural law. Divine, natural, moral and physical. If you are to practice just one type of the non-jural law for the entire existence of your life, what would it be and why?
Ans.
If I were to practice just one type of non-jural law for the existence of my life, it would be the Divine Law. If you practice Divine law you can also able to practice the others as well because in Natural and Physical laws are those that are believed to be the morally righteous laws believed to have been the will of a greater power than humans. This does not necessarily mean that it is the will of God. Above all laws, Divine law encompasses all the other law.

Ambitions in Life as a Computer Science Student

1. What would you like to be 5 yrs from now? (hopes, aspirations, wishes)
Ans.
For me, my first priority for now is getting out this university :). And if I finish my college degree i will pursue my dream to become a software designer even if it's dream for me to achieve. I don't dream to be a millionaire or billionaire because becoming one of them I just want to be successful in my life that i don't cause any problem to everyone. Maybe 5 years from now I can build my own business, I want to build a printing shop and accessories where i can create my design or build my own computer shop and especially build my own dream house. I wish also my software i developing right now will help many people especially to geodetic engineers. 2. If you are to develop a program to promote moral values, what program would you do? and why?
Ans.
The program that I want to develop a user-friendly anti-hacking system that help people. Because today's computer system are prone to many computer hacks and viruses I want to prevent them from entering private computer system so that it won't make any disturbances to users. We know that hacking may be good or bad depending to user who manage/using it. If they use in wrong doing it would be unethical because what's their purpose in doing that, they only causing problem especially to business industry they create cracks program that can access any software program. Maybe in near future i can develop this kind of program.

3. If you are a machine, what would you be and why?
Ans.
Of course, I want to be a Personal Computer it's because computer helps a people in getting any kind of information we wants. Before computer has not been develop people are depending on post offices to send mails, now we are fortunate because we only just sit and type messages to computer and send all over the world. And one of the best characteristic of the computer is that we can install any software suitable for any user and lessen the burdens of the users.
